Beltsville State Park

Yesterday, I joined the Fogelsville Elementary 4th Graders
on their Field Trip
to
Beltsville, State Park.
They were digging for fossils!
Megan, the archeologist!
The state park was about 30 minutes north of where we live.
The elevation is higher there, so we saw more color in the leaves than we are seeing where we live right now.

Fall Foliage!

Home?

Well, it's official!

Mack and I both have a Pennsylvania Driver's License and we are driving around with PA Plates, oh, I mean plate. In Pennsylvania you only have a plate on the back of your car. I guess I am going to have to get one of those fake plates that says "I Love Texas" or "Cowboys" to go on the front of my car!

20 Miles = REAL MEXICAN FOOD!

Hola!
Last night we headed to Reading, PA to look at a car and of course, Mack wanted to try a "new" place to eat! As excited as Mack was, let's just say, the girls and I were not thrilled!
Well...
Ole'
Mack did great-we all liked it!
Real chips, salsa, cheese dip, nachos, quesadillas and most importantly, AWESOME FROZEN MARGARITA'S!!!
So, now that we have found a good Mexican place to eat at, you have NO EXCUSE to not come visit us!

Even real live music!
The inside was decorated "Mexican food style" and the people were NICE!
We felt like we were back in Texas! :)
Adios

Princess Night and Chick-fil-a...Who could ask for more???

Kayla has been waiting for three weeks for Princess Night at Chick-fil-a! And I was waiting for a good excuse to go there, so it worked out great! :) Princess Night was this Wednesday and the girls had a "ball!"

"Katie," the lady putting make-up on Kayla, is from Houston, Texas!!! Megan noticed she had a James Avery necklace on - Texas shape with heart inside. Her family lives in the Woodlands and she is moving back there in December.

Kayla felt like a "real princess" as her dress dragged down the stairs!

One of these days I'll record her and you can listen to her practice!
